Focus and scope

The Borneo Journal of Nursing and Health Sciences (BJNHS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing the body of knowledge and clinical practice in nursing and the broader health sciences. The journal provides an international platform for researchers, clinicians, educators, and healthcare policy makers to disseminate high-quality original research, systematic reviews, and clinical innovations.
BJNHS welcomes submissions across a wide spectrum of nursing disciplines and health sciences, including but not limited to:

• Clinical & Specialized Nursing Care: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Emergency and Critical Care Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, as well as Maternity and Neonatal Nursing
• ⁠Community & Population Health: Gerontological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Family Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing.
• Healthcare Leadership & Pedagogy: Nursing Leadership and Management, alongside innovations and methodologies in Nursing Education.
• Technology & Future Healthcare: Nursing Informatics, Digital Health, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in nursing practice and research.
• ⁠Integrative & General Health Sciences: Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) relevant to nursing, as well as multidisciplinary research spanning the broader Health Sciences field.

The journal aims to bridge the gap between theory, practice, and technology to foster evidence-based care and improve patient outcomes globally.
